About the Role
Harper May is working with a founder-led entertainment production company that has grown substantially over the past three years. The business produces content across film, television, and digital platforms, with a growing international footprint and an expanding slate of projects in development. As the company scales, the finance function is being strengthened to support more complex project accounting, consolidation, and strategic planning.
The Role
You will report to the Finance Director and take ownership of the monthly management accounts, project costing, and variance analysis across the production pipeline. The role sits at the intersection of financial control and operational insight - you'll be translating production spend and revenue into clear reporting that informs greenlighting decisions and budget management at board level.

- Build and maintain financial models for new project proposals and budget scenarios
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across the business
- Create management reports and dashboards to track cash flow, headcount spend, and project delivery
- Partner with producers and operations to verify project costs and identify variances
- Assist with process improvements to the chart of accounts and cost allocation methodology
