About the Role

Our client is a growing entertainment business operating across live experiences, content production, and creative projects. With an expanding commercial portfolio and multiple revenue streams, the company is continuing to invest in new productions while strengthening financial structure behind delivery. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to improve reporting quality and provide insight that supports decision-making across the business.

The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Management Accountant will take responsibility for producing timely, accurate management information and supporting both operational and creative teams with commercial insight. The role offers broad exposure across projects, productions, and wider performance activity, requiring someone who can manage competing priorities and bring clarity to fast-moving, project-led reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across projects and productions

  • Partner with operational teams to monitor costs, margins, and performance

  • Review project profitability and provide insight on cost control and resource allocation

  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes

  • Support year-end reporting and audit preparation

  • Maintain and improve financial models, reports, and management information

  • Contribute to process improvement and reporting efficiency initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience in an entertainment, media, or project-based environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial information clearly

  • Confident communicator able to work with non-finance stakeholders

  • High level of Excel and financial modelling capability

  • Detail-focused, commercially minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
