About the Role
A rapidly expanding organisation in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. Role Overview:
The Finance Director will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving operational performance, and ensuring robust financial governance across the group. This is a high-impact position suited to a finance leader with a strong understanding of regulated environments and a hands-on, commercially minded approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function across financial control, planning, analysis, and reporting

Partner with the CEO and Board to drive strategic planning and commercial decision-making

Oversee statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across the group

Provide insight into financial performance, risk, and opportunities

Lead and develop a growing finance team, ensuring high standards and scalable processes

Support capital planning, funding strategy, and investor reporting

Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial partners
Candidate Profile:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience

Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, compliance, and control

Previous experience in a senior finance role within financial services is essential

Proven ability to influence at board level and contribute to strategic growth

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
