About the Role

They are currently searching for an astute Payroll Manager to lead and refine their payroll operations with a forward-thinking approach. The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of prior experience within payroll management.
Responsibilities:

Ensure that the payroll is processed in accordance with the company policies, procedures, and standards

Ensure compliance with tax, pension, and statutory regulations

Monitor and report on payroll performance indicators and metrics

Resolve complex payroll issues and queries from employees and managers

Liaise with external agencies such as pension providers, and auditors

Maintain payroll records and reports

Support payroll projects and initiatives such as system enhancements, process improvements, and best practices
Qualifications:

A wealth of experience in payroll management, especially within a high-volume context.

Extensive working knowledge of payroll systems and HR payroll applications.

A track record of driving improvements in payroll processes.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication capabilities.

In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.

Professionally qualified or member of Institute of Payroll Management.

Educated to degree standard is highly desirable.
