Financial Controller

Our client is a growing technology business delivering product-led solutions within a fast-paced, scalable environment. With continued investment in systems, data, and process improvement, the company is strengthening its financial control as it scales. To support this next phase, they are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, control, and compliance across the business.

The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Financial Controller will take ownership of financial control, reporting, and governance, while working closely with commercial and operational teams. The role combines strong technical accounting responsibility with exposure to a dynamic, high-growth technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Produce accurate management accounts and statutory financial statements

• Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and balance sheet integrity

• Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and reporting

• Review and improve finance processes, systems, and reporting frameworks

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Candidate Profile

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified

• Previous experience in a technology, software, or high-growth environment

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise

• Confident communicator able to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders

• Detail-focused with a strong control mindset

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling business
