- Manage and lead the financial accounting and reporting functions of the institution.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Supervise and guide the finance team in day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage budgets.
- Provide financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
