About the Role

Harper May is presently partnering with a prominent force in the global consultancy sector, offering innovative solutions and influencing excellence across various industries. They are currently in search of a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial activities, steering strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance. This role presents a distinctive opportunity for an accomplished finance professional to make a significant contribution to the financial well-being and triumph of a globally renowned consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in finance transformation (including systems migration and implementation) to drive strategic initiatives, streamline processes and enhance financial performance
  • Timely and accurate financial reporting, both internal Group management and statutory reporting (including multi-currency Group consolidation)
  • Preparation of quarterly management reporting to the Board and investors
  • Preparation of annual budget and rolling quarterly forecasts, working with Operations and Commercial teams to ensure appropriate targets are set
  • Assisting with the management and coordination of statutory audits to ensure they are completed on a timely basis
  • Working with the Operations team to ensure: CRM systems and related processes are working efficiently and effectively to deliver timely and accurate MI
  • Supporting Management on ad hoc requests to understand business and project level performance
  • Ensuring key data processes feeding into the finance and CRM systems are improved, optimised and provide complete data inputs. Checking the data inputs are complete, accurate & valid and delivering improvements where this is not so
  • Actively contribute to improvement of processes and the Group’s internal control environment
  • Participation in and support on various business improvement projects as required
  • Managing, developing and coaching team to achieve higher levels of performance

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
  • Track record of working in fast-paced wide ranged finance environments
  • Experience of achieving efficiencies and improving management reporting and related systems
  • Experience of Board and management reporting
  • Implementing and migrating systems experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and management skills
  • Solid analytical and financial skills
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Hybrid working – 3 days a week in office
