About the Role

Harper May is exclusively collaborating with one of the UK's leading retail companies. They are presently seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join their Finance team based in Central London. This company is experiencing significant growth in the retail sector and intends to capitalise on its recent remarkable progress.

This position is especially thrilling as it provides the chosen candidate with a comprehensive and dynamic role within a rapidly evolving organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Building relationships with various departmental heads.

  • Commentary and analysis of monthly reports.

  • Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and the Head of FP&A on ad-hoc analytical duties.

  • Providing month end variance analysis and forecasting future financial performance.

  • Challenging existing business ideas with a forward-looking focus.

  • Reviewing budgets, forecasts and reforecast.

Preferred Skills

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualification 

  • Experience as a Financial Analyst within a similar environment   

  • Outstanding presentation and communication

  • A proven track record of meeting strict deadlines

  • Excellent Excel skills
