About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing organisation in the financial services sector, offering a diverse range of products and services across regulated markets. As the company enters a new phase of strategic growth, they are seeking a commercially focused and technically strong Head of FP&A to lead financial planning and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
Role Overview:
This is a high-impact role responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and performance analysis. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the wider executive team, the Head of FP&A will provide strategic insight and challenge, ensuring financial plans align with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process across the business

Produce insightful financial analysis, including P&L, cash flow, scenario modelling and variance commentary

Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, operations, and risk to support performance delivery

Improve financial visibility through dashboards, KPI tracking and reporting enhancements

Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, embedding best practices and continuous improvement

Drive enhancements to financial models, planning tools and processes to support scaling operations

Contribute to investor reporting, board packs and regulatory submissions

Support capital planning, investment appraisals and business case development
Candidate Profile:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified FP&A experience

Proven success in a senior FP&A or finance business partnering role, ideally within financial services

Strong analytical and modelling skills with a commercial mindset

Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively

Experience with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and advanced Excel essential

Able to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
