Finance Manager – Technology (Remote)

A fast-scaling technology business is seeking a Finance Manager to support its financial operations during a period of international expansion. This role will take ownership of accounting, compliance, and corporate governance across multiple entities. It offers a hands-on opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and external advisors while building scalable, audit-ready processes in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate month-end close, including reconciliations and management accounts

• Lead financial reporting and ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements

• Oversee VAT submissions and support corporate tax filings across European entities

• Review payroll data and ensure accurate multi-country payroll accounting

• Liaise with external advisors (tax, audit, legal) to manage financial obligations

• Own finance-related internal controls and contribute to risk management documentation

• Manage board and shareholder documentation, including corporate filings and meeting prep

• Identify and implement process improvements across systems and workflows

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent); Big 4 or top-tier training strongly preferred

• Strong grounding in accounting and financial reporting under GAAP/IFRS

• Experience in international finance operations, ideally across multiple jurisdictions

• Fluent in German (written and spoken); confident working in English

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) and strong Excel skills

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with remote teams across time zones
