A high-growth consultancy firm reached a tipping point with turnover approaching £6M and continued expansion, the Directors were spending increasing time managing the financials with their outsourced accountant. It became clear they needed their first in-house finance professional to take ownership of financial strategy and operations. 

The initial brief was for a Finance Manager, but midway through the process it became evident a more senior Finance Director would better match the strategic and cultural needs of the business.
