About Profile
- A highly skilled Senior Finance Professional, boasting over 15 years of expertise specialising in the media sector.
- Oversee accounting functions for the local and international regions. Directly supervise team members, encompassing management accounting, payroll, and accounts payable.
- Lead month-end close processes, ensuring adherence to the established close calendar across all entities.
- Review and approve monthly payroll for all entities, managing submissions and payments to employees and government agencies.
- Spearhead internal and external financial audits for the local and international entities, serving as the primary contact for auditors and ensuring audits are completed within predetermined timelines.
- Direct monthly intercompany reporting to the global consolidation team, implementing reconciliation processes to settle historical balances and streamline transaction volumes for smoother submissions.
- Conduct monthly reviews of all balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and post all payroll journals and intercompany payroll recharges, optimising the recharge process to accurately capture all employee costs. All recharges undergo pre-approval and are supported by detailed calculations to minimise variances and facilitate credit note generation.
- Manage the preparation and submission of government returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Standardise processes across the local and international regions to enhance efficiency and consistency.
