About Profile

  • A commercially adept and fully qualified Finance Director with over 20 years of expertise in leadership roles, specialising in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical (OG&C) and Data Centre industries.
  • Manage and mitigate risks while identifying opportunities.
  • Implement new processes and procedures within the finance department and across the broader company.
  • Ensure the establishment of rigorous and robust controls throughout the entire organisation.
  • Lead and develop a team of eight qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Oversee functions such as Receivables, Payables, Treasury, Compliance, Payroll, Reporting, and Accounting.
  • Produce monthly Management Accounts along with analysis and commentary.
  • Foster and manage relationships with Banks, Auditors, and third-party outsourcers.
  • Create and oversee company Budgets and Forecasts, managing the end-to-end process.
  • Take responsibility for tax filings, including CIS, VAT, PAYE, P46, P11D, and PSA.
  • Provide support to accountants in the production of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FRS102.
