Job Description

Harper May is currently working with an award-winning organic food & supplement producer based in Central London. This exciting client is currently looking for a diligent Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their award winning finance team. The company has experienced 80% YOY growth and has a fantastic working environment. This role is an essential link between Supply Chain and Finance in ensuring that supplier invoices are accurately matched with purchase orders and goods received notes and subsequently posted into the ERP. The successful candidate will ideally have prior AP and stock experience.

Key Duties:

  • Checking invoices against purchase orders and resolving any price queries and quantity with the supply chain team and warehouse teams as required
  • Matching invoices to goods received notes and purchase orders
  • Accurately input invoices onto ERP system
  • Checking list of open purchase orders on ERP on a weekly basis to ensure any orders are closed down quickly and efficiently
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and ensuring relevant teams are aware of any queries
  • Filing and other administrative duties
  • Printing invoices emailed to the Company

Key Requirements:

  • Previous AP experience
  • Stock experience is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
