Job Description

An industry leading construction company that has experienced steady growth is looking for an analytically-minded Project Accountant to join their growing team. The company, based in Central London, have had year on growth and are pioneers within the construction industry. With exciting developments in the pipeline and new FTSE listed clients, this remarkable construction giant is planning on expanding into the international market. The successful candidate will have previous experience with project and management accounts and will have previously worked in the construction industry. The role would also offer the opportunity to develop, progress and would lead to responsibilities such as strategic decision making and overseeing a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accurate production of monthly management accounts
  • Leading the project accounting for all live and pipeline projects
  • Producing accurate and insightful project analysis to help drive the success of project performance
  • Preparing timely investment analysis which will outline development options and profitability of projects and future projects
  • Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Business partnering with the Finance Director and relevant Project Managers

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Is ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Has had previous experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Highly-motivated and pro-active self starter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Has an analytical mind with strong numerical skills
  • Previously has had experience as a Project Accountant
  • A university degree would be highly advantageous
