Job Description

Based in Central London, my client is a luxury hotel chain looking for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team. A global company with numerous sites across Europe, my client is a genuine industry leader in the hospitality sector. With numerous new sites in development, the successful candidate will be degree educated with a passion for hospitality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up new supplier details and payment terms correctly on the system
  • Promptly register all invoices and expense claims as required
  • Process invoices promptly and accurately, matching to POs when necessary
  • Process expenses and corporate card expenses
  • Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis prior to payment
  • Resolve supplier queries on a prompt and professional basis
  • Create and email remittance advices to suppliers
  • Prepare sales invoices for players' hospitality expenses (hotels, car bookings etc.)
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Manage bank accounts and perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Perform petty cash reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • 2 years experience in a commercial setting
  • Previous experience using Sage 50 is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
