Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding and successful multisite leisure group with their head office based in Central London. The group burst onto the scene over a decade ago and now has multiple sites around London. Their recent success has allowed them to become a leading force in the industry and to start planning for further openings in the coming years. The successful candidate will have experience in a multisite leisure business and will have extensive experience with budgeting and forecasting. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Financial Controller to join an exciting and successful company in a role with a large range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing full sets of management accounts for each site and consolidated accounts for the group
- Month end reporting and producing management backs for the board
- Ownership of the budgeting process
- Planning, preparing and managing the budget for the board
- Closing all ledgers
- Developing business plans and models
- Preparing long term forecasts
- KPI reporting
- VAT returns
- Managing a small team
Desired Skills and Experience:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA fully qualified
- Must have multisite leisure experience
- A strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- At least 2 years experience in a senior role with a wide range of responsibilities, ideally in the leisure industry
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and achieve results under pressure
- The ability to maintain excellent customer relationships
- Strong communication and excel skills
