Harper may is working with a leading technology company based in Central London. My client is currently going through a period of growth and therefore seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate who has a passion for technology to join this true industry leader and make a name for themselves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full preparation on month end management accounts including balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and preparation of monthly consolidation
- Prepare monthly revenue analysis
- Oversee quarterly VAT reporting
- Preparing and reviewing monthly payroll for submission to payroll
- Provide support the FD in HR matters where necessary.
- Oversee annual audit reporting including preparation of consolidated Financial Statements
- Oversee preparation of annual R&D tax claim
- Assisting the FD in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Review of monthly overheads in comparison to budget understanding variance to budget.
- Other ad-hoc projects
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Financial Controller in a start up environment
- Hands on approach to work
- Excellent inter personal, team working and organisational skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Xero and Sage is a must
- Proven ability to work to deadlines
