Job Description
Harper May are currently working on a Finance Manager position with a fast paced catering company that delivers corporate & private events, weddings and runs seasonal pop up restaurants. They are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to replace their Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly P&Ls for individual events, pop ups and the business
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Approving all bills through Dext (automated invoice processing system)
- Payroll for monthly salaried staff
- Payroll for fortnightly paid hourly restaurant staff
- Managing Balance Sheet
- Managing budgets and aiding with forecasts
- Enrolling staff onto payroll
- Monthly pay runs to suppliers
- Month end Journals for costs movements and accruals
- Managing bills and costs
- Raising client invoices and chasing aged receivables
- Delivering weekly cost analysis for restaurants, including reconciling stock takes and staff hours
- Reconciling all restaurant income
Key Requirements:
- Working on Xero Minimum 2 years of book keeping and producing management accounts
- Reporting to: Founder & Creative Director and Managing Director
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA Part Qualified
- Prior Restaurant/Catering/Hospitality experience
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
