Job Description

Harper May is currently working with an international, British luxury motor yacht manufacturer and retailer based in central London. This exciting industry leader is world famous for crafting the largest and most luxurious opulent yachts, setting industry standards and winning annual awards and acclaim for their master craftsmanship. With new plans to expand into the luxury water sports market, this premium retailer is now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their growing team. The role will involve working with the new expansions into the water sports market as well as working closely with the international sales and marketing ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing financial analysis and providing commercial support to investment decision making
  • Analysing store trials and reviewing the profitability of customer initiatives
  • Driving the budgeting and forecasting process for the London and UK stores
  • Business partnering with the E-commerce and sales teams to provide commercial support
  • Producing monthly management information packs that will go to board level
  • Preparing reports on EMEA store performance
  • Business partnering with the board and key stakeholders
  • Assisting senior management with the annual budgets
  • Liaising with the UK and US commercial teams
  • Assisting with the negotiation of manufacturing and client contracts

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Has experience within the retail industry
  • Previously has had experience in a similar position
  • A university degree would be highly advantageous
  • Has an analytical mind with strong numerical skills
  • Highly-motivated and pro-active self starter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
