Job Description
Our client is a visionary fintech platform, offering both B2B and B2C services, are looking for a Global Chief Commercial Officer to lead a major sales / marketing team. Having received large venture capitalist backing, they have built and developed a successful platform from an early stage business to now generating over £80m in revenues. As CCO you will have huge autonomy to set the vision for the business as it continues its rapid scaling.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing, sales plans and forecasts to shape the commercial path to support growth of the company
- Compile and review competitor products, sales and marketing activities with constant evaluation of the strategic priorities
- Build best in class sales and marketing operation for this high growth fintech business
- Build long term relationships with key clientele
- Identify market opportunities and lead the assessment and prioritization of geographic as well as market segments
- Lead development of the B2B marketing strategy in order to increase market penetration and sales growth
- Ensure ongoing and proactive contact with international, national, and local media to maintain a strong global network of known media contacts
- Grow and maintain relationships to venture capitalists and strategic investors
Requirements
- Proven executive experience in the fintech industry / gaming / blockchain / financial services
- Experience and positive track record with executing business partnerships
- Excellent understanding of the digital landscape and payment sector
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Ability to be hands-on as well as strategic
- A confident and persuasive leader and speaker, adept at confidently delivering compelling presentations to customers, media representatives, and investors
- Willingness to travel
